Cell phones, tablets, and smart watches
As a courtesy to our actors and other audience members, please turn off your cell phones,
and silence all electronics and smart watches (or set them to silent mode) before entering the theatre.
Cameras, smart phones, and other recording devices
The use of cameras, smart phones, and all other video/audio recording equipment of any kind are
strictly prohibited in the theatre. No photos or recordings may be taken inside the theatre.
Plan Your Visit
Late seating
The box office and lobby opens 30 minutes before show time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early as the parking kiosks can become busy. Late seating is not guaranteed and is at the complete discretion of the house manager. Please double-check the show time listed on your tickets.
Children
We do not recommend bringing children under age 5 to Venice Island, except to our Junior Production performances, where their attendance is absolutely encouraged! Please also keep in mind that, regardless of age, everyone must have their own ticket. Please note that not all programming is appropriate for all ages. Food and drink
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the theatre. All bags are subject to inspection before entering the event. We ask that all guests silence or turn off their phones during the production. Any photography, video or audio recording of this production is strictly prohibited. Check out local restaurants here.
Disruptions
The House Manager reserves the right to ask any disruptive audience member to leave.
Parking
The parking lot located on the theatre's property is a pay-to-park facility. The lot is managed through the Manayunk Development Corporation’s Main office located at 4312 Main Street, and not through the Venice Island Performing Arts Center. All inquiries regarding daily rates, specials, and closures can be addressed through the MDC's office at 215.482.9565.
